Housekeeper

PART TIME ROLE

ReTreet, a 7-day-a-week resort business, is seeking motivated individuals to join our housekeeping team. Flexibility and dedication are key as we strive to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

 

Schedule:

20-24 hours weekly

  • Shifts may start as early as 7:30 AM and end as late as 5:00 PM.

  • Sundays are required.

  • Events on-site may require additional hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all resort accommodations and common areas.

  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Provide updates and complete tasks via our designated app using a smartphone.

  • Operate golf carts and ATVs safely after training.

  • Handle and use cleaning supplies safely and effectively.

  • Adopt and promote a zero-waste mindset in daily tasks.


Detailed Job Duties:

Laundry:

  • laundry tasks: washing, cleaning, folding, and organizing linens on racks or in bins.

  • Maintain the linen room by stocking and cleaning, including keeping an inventory list of linens in use, on racks, and in storage.

  • Keep all rental units stocked with bed linens, towels, bath cloths, and kitchen essentials.

Common Areas:

  • Check common areas for trash and cleanliness, including taking out trash, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies.

  • Maintain outdoor areas such as wiping furniture, checking for supplies, and maintain overall cleanliness

  • Maintain cleanliness of Nordic cycle stations.

  • Keep the dog park, playground, horseshoe station, and tiny library clean by taking out trash, wiping down chairs and tables, and blowing off any common areas.

  • Tree Store-Clean the restroom, sink, garbage, coffee station, and other areas as needed.

Rental Units:

  • Clean all rental units after checkouts. Have the unit ready to go before the next arrival.

Golf Carts/ATVs:

  • Maintain golf carts and ATVs daily  ensuring cleanliness, charging and identify maintenance needs if any arise.

General Property:

  • Notify managers of necessary repairs, broken or missing items, or replacements needed.

  • Provide photo updates through the designated phone app.


Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation to arrive at work for scheduled time

  • Must have a reliable cell phone for use of cleaning software app

  • Must be able to stand and move for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs to move cleaning supplies between assigned areas.


Uniform Requirements:

  • Uniform tops are provided.

  • Bottoms should be black, with no rips or holes.

  • Closed-toe shoes are required.

  • Appearance must be clean and tidy.


Compensation:

  • Starting pay: $17/hour

Reporting

  • Reports to the General Manager
